The Mida Creek is part of the Watamu Marine National Park and is a veritable lagoon bounded by dense mangrove wall that create truly beautiful scenery.

Mangroves, thanks to their special roots are able to live and breed in brackish water, thus preserving the coast from erosion and providing a natural habitat for different types of mollusks, crabs and fish.

In this place you can admire a wide variety of birds, including herons, flamingos, kingfishers, waders and raptors.

You can visit the Mida Creek walking on typical Burmese bridges which crosses the lagoon, or aboard a canoe.

The best way to make this experience unforgettable is sailing aboard a Dhow at sunset.
